These tools have a minimal footprint and are easily removed/reused with fitted extractor.
Several reasons you may want to physically deny access to a keyway:
- immediate stop gap while you work on a rekeying solution for a home or business
- stop people with master keys
- legal lockout
- safety lockout
Use responsibly, and be aware that anytime you plug something into a keyway or a lock (especially things designed to lock-up that lock) there is always a chance of the inserted items becoming "irretrievable."
